The Simple Loop:

Fold your scarf in half to create a loop at one end. Place the scarf around your neck and pull the two loose ends through the loop.

The Pretzel:

Fold your scarf in half and place it around your neck with the loop on one side. Pull one end through the loop. Take the other end and place it on top of the loop and pull it through the opposite way.

The Celeb Knot:

Place your scarf around your neck and drape on end back around. Tie the two scarf corners together in a loose half knot.

The Cowl Neck:

Drape your scarf around your neck, then loop one end around again. Even out both ends and tie them into a half knot, so that you end up with two loops around your neck. Adjust the loops until your have the volume you prefer.

Winter is one of the hardest seasons to dress for, especially when it’s too cold to get out of bed and get dressed for the day. Although I speak for myself, I think most people can relate to having this dilemma. Now, there isn’t much that can be done about the cool weather, however, there is a way to combat the difficult task that is getting dressed. Firstly, you need to create a capsule wardrobe and colour palette. This is the simplest way of dressing, where you pick colours that go together and that compliment your skin tone, hair and eye colour. With this in mind, we have created 3 different winter colour palettes based on that criteria to help you design your capsule winter wardrobe.

Cool Winter:

• Hair can be an ashy white blonde, light ashy brown to dark ashy brown to black with no red tones
• Eyes are bright blue, grey, blue-green, light brown
• Skin can be neutral beige, soft olive or black
• Best colours: light pink, burgundy, deep purple, violet, light blue, teal, grey, white, mint green

Clear Winter:

• Dark brown to black hair that may have red tones
• Bright blue or green eyes
• Skin can be milky white, neutral beige, soft olive, or brown black

• Hair is medium to dark brown of black
