CANDLE SAFETY GUIDE

Position candle on a secure, level, heat resistant surface away from drafts, flammable materials, children and animals.  Never leave a burning candle unattended. Never burn a candle completely to the end. Discard when there’s 20mm of wax in the bottom of the jar. This will avoid overheating which could result in cracking of the glass jar.

THE IMPORTANT FIRST BURN

The first burn plays an important part in the care of your candle. When lighting your candle, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar, this creates a wax pool.  The wax pool helps to prevent tunnelling and promotes an even burn each time you light your candle. For best results, burn your candle in 2-4 hour durations.

To protect your candle from discolouration, always store in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
